Victorian Day 8th May 2026

What a special day we had celebrating, to the very day, the opening of our school on 8th May 1876 - we are 150 years old!  The children had a fabulous experience, from their dressing up to role-playing as Victorian children, and celebrating with a whole school picnic and a huge birthday cake. But the highlight of the day for all the children and the staff was our walk to the buttercup meadow where the children played and made their own special memories of the day - it was exactly as if we had turned back time. It was a wonderful sight to behold and lots of the local community came out to see us in our Victorian Splendour!
