• Wednesday 15 January 2025 25 Willow wb 13.01.25 Willow class have been exploring their new topic 'Wonderful Worcestershire' in more detail this week. We have identified the location within the United Kingdom and described it's location using the different compass points. The children had a task which involved making connections in order to describe Worcestershire and they did a brilliant job reflecting on what we know about our local area. In Science, the children explored how magnets work and how they can be used in everyday life. We learned that magnets work at a distance and can come in many shapes, sizes and strengths. We explored what the world would be like if our fingertips had magnets attached! In music lessons, we listened to a rap all about anti bullying written by Joanna Mangona. We also had our first swimming session this week and it was lovely to see the children showing confidence with their water skills and really enjoying their time in the pool.
