• Thursday 22 May 2025 25 Acorn The Paper Bag Princess What an exciting week it has been! On Monday, we had a visit from Mr Bumble the pony (kindly brought into school by Mrs Pilcher). This gave us all chance to wear our crowns and shields, and go for a pony ride around the playground. It has also been science week, so we have been looking at 'hot and cold'. In the afternoon, we used ice paints to colour a large piece of paper.

• Wednesday 21 May 2025 25 Reception Multi-skills Morning This morning, 21st May 2025, I had the pleasure in taking Reception class to a Multi Skills morning held at Eckington Playing fields. There were 12 activities all run by year 5's from the first schools that were taking part. The activities were designed and thought up by the Year 5 pupils themselves.
